    Thoreau College, a microcollege in Viroqua, Wisconsin, offers a unique learning experience for students, focusing on nature, agriculture, and more. The college's Metamorphosis Gap Semester program, which is accredited for up to 15 credits, provides students with a holistic experience, including agriculture, art, and wilderness expeditions.

      The Remember Project and the Wisconsin Office of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (WI-ODHH) are hosting an event in Menomonie on March 19, featuring a play and community conversation on the topic of brain health. The play, "Fortune Cookies," is written by Bonnie Dudovitz and stars deaf actors Alyson Urdahl and Christopher Rawlings. ASL interpreters and captioning services will be available to make the event fully inclusive. The event aims to highlight the fears of dementia and the need for understanding and compassion in creating a dementia-friendly society.
